AHRMA Vintage Motorcycle Festival celebrates its 14th year at New Jersey Motorsports Park!

Moses history of track instruction includes NJMP Riders Club since 2019 and four years at Absolute Cycle Experience. For years, he led the intro-class in discerning proper racing techniques by providing real-time feedback and post-session debriefs.

In his new role as NJMP’s Riders Club Track Supervisor he will help oversee the Riders Club instructors as well as enforce organizational policies to ensure a safe and cohesive track day experience for all.

NJMP Introduces Karting Club Membership and Competition License in 2026

MILLVILLE, NJ (January 19, 2026) – New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) introduces a new membership program and competition license application for its operations and offerings at Tempest Raceway, the go-karting track of NJMP.

The Karting Club is a Go-Karting Membership designed for devoted drivers who regularly participate in NJMP Karting. Through the new program, drivers have the exclusive opportunity to develop their on-track skills through select discounted track offerings and community involvement.

“2025 was a great year for NJMP’s karting facility,” remarks Dakota Reed, NJMP Karting Manager, “And in that time, our team became aware of the important part that NJMP plays in the driver’s journey into motorsports and racing. Over the months, we were proud to welcome back repeat drivers to our Rental Kart Leagues and Endurance Races and watch their dedication to the craft. This program is them. For those who have a strong desire to advance in their motorsports journey.”

With the Karting Club, drivers will receive facility benefits such as:

The Karting Club represents the core of the rental karting ecosystem. They are trusted participants who understand expectations, respect the equipment and staff, and help set the tone for safe and competitive racing.

And in the theme of safety and operational success, NJMP is also implementing a Competition License program.

In 2026, all kart and bike owners will be required to obtain 2026 NJMP Karting Club Competition Credentials in order to participate in NJMP Competition Practice sessions.

The Competition License Program is designed for racers who wish to operate their own karts or bikes (600cc or less) during competition practices. All racers should be at least 17 years of age, unless they hold requisite experience, endorsements, or credentials from an accredited and sanctioned racing body.

The Karting Director will vet kart applicants. Bike applicants will undergo a review of their credentials from NJMP Riders Club, NJ Mini GP, ASRA, MotoAmerica, Yamaha Racing or California Superbike Schools.

This new process helps ensure a safe, competitive, and appropriately skilled environment for all participants.

New Jersey Motorsports Park Introduces Instructor Certification Program for Riders Club in 2026

MILLVILLE, N.J. (January 15, 2026) — New Jersey Motorsports Park is proud to announce its “Riders Club Instructor Certification Program” created by Ken Hill, former professional road racer widely acknowledged as one of the top riding coaches in the nation.

Over the past year, NJMP management recognized that club members were asking for access to professional-level instruction. Building on a well-established foundation, a highly structured, in-house certification program was a natural next step.

Curriculum is based on Hill’s “Order of the Sport,” a comprehensive motorsports training guide designed to help riders achieve a high degree of safety, skill, and consistency by breaking down complex operations into digestible fundamental practices.

This methodical approach is based on proven habits and time-tested techniques. It goes beyond telling students what to do. Rather, it teaches them how to ride with awareness, intention, and precision, while mitigating risk as their pace improves and they circulate faster.

“Other sports have figured it out across the board,” says Hill. “Coaches teach fundamentals that scale; what works for beginners also translates to the elite, with just a different degree of precision. Track-day riders and racers deserve that same clarity and structure.”

The individually customizable system includes a comprehensive written guide, which will serve as the basis of Hill’s classroom instruction. Testing, also performed by Hill, includes both written and on-track evaluations.
