MILLVILLE, N.J. (May 4, 2017)
– New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) brings the food truck craze to Cumberland County, hosting a variety of the best food trucks from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Event organizers welcome families, food lovers, and adventure seekers for an action-packed festival featuring on-track racing, live music, a beer garden, vendors, food truck competition and more.
The New Jersey Motorsports Park Food Truck Festival presented by TD Bank will be held Saturday, May 6 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Millville facility. The festival is free to the public, and food will be available for purchase.
The lineup of food trucks includes: Top Shelf Mobile Cuisine, Kono Pizza, Tacoholics, Mannino’s Cannoli Express, Empanada Guy, Self Love, Wipeout Eats, Kona Ice, Mannino’s Mobile Wood Fire Pizza, I Got Crabs N Some Seafood, Flamin’ Foods, Red Velvet, JJ’s Mobile Kitchen, Sweet Creations, Troops Barbecue and Catering, Doggie Style, Maddalena’s Cheesecake and Catering, and PJ Dog House. Each mobile restaurant will feature unique culinary cuisine and street eats from bloomin’ onions, rack of lamb, and vegan fare to gourmet cannoli’s, cheesecake, and cake pops!
“We’re (NJMP) excited to host this free event for the community. Not only will attendees have the opportunity to indulge in over 15 food trucks, but will also experience the excitement of on-track action,” said Mark Verrastro, NJMP general manager. “NJMP hosts a variety of events throughout the season, including Monster Truck Shows and a NASCAR K&N race, but we also enjoy hosting community events that appeal to the non-racing fan.”
The day-long food truck event will feature on-track action from CHIN Motorsports, live music, a beer garden, and craft vendors. Family fun activities available for attendees include Monster Truck Rides, Tri-State Professionals Kid Zone offering carnival games and inflatables, and RC Cars.
One food truck will roll out of NJMP as the Food Truck Champion! The NJMP Food Truck Festival will feature an element of friendly competition for food trucks that would like to participate. The competition will feature a panel of three judges: TD Bank Store Manager (Vineland), Bridget Sharer, Tower Hospitality area restaurant manager, Domingo Rodriguez, and author of “The Jersey Shore Cookbook” and founder and Executive Editor of JerseyBites.com, Deborah Smith. Judges will taste and score each dish in a variety of categories. The winning food truck will receive a custom trophy created by the welding students from Cumberland County Tec (CCTEC), and additional prizes. Food lovers can catch the competition from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Between Monday July 19, 2021 and Tuesday August 10, 2021, due to a large private event, the entire New Jersey Motorsports Park facility will be closed to the general public. This includes the Finish Line Pub, Pool, Go-Karting, Clubhouse, Hotel Rooms, Fuel, and the entire facility and all amenities.
